MetalTech Building Systems THE NEXT GENERATION IN COLD FORMED STEEL TECHNOLOGY

These KIT houses have several new engineering and fabrication innovations which we have incorporated into the MetalTech system. The entire structure is constructed of the basic MetalTech panel profile, including walls, floor and roof. The new structural roof panel you see in some of the interior photos allows us to achieve very long spans of up to six meters or more clear span, depending on the roof design loads, with a very "thin" panel depth (4" / 10cm or 6" / 15 cm).

The Unit you see in these photos is 50 square meters interior space. By utilizing the new structural roof panel, we are able to design in another 20 square meters of living space, simply by installing additional MetalTech floor/roof panels just above the interior door header height of 2.08 meters, on center interior partition walls, effectively making mini "lofts". This is critically important as it adds significant additional space for sleeping / storage lofts (in the three bedrooms and living room) plus off ground storage space (kitchenette and bathroom). Since the units are so small, no closets could be designed as they take up more valuable living space, so the extra 20 square meters significantly impacts the "liveability" of this small unit. The same benefits would be important to any area or Country in the world where maximum interior space/volume at minimum cost would make the difference between a new, safe, clean home and whatever is currently being lived in. And, don't forget the inherent high wind and sesismic advantages of the Proprietary Structural Shear Walls of the MetalTech Building System! .....

Erected in a couple of days, this 50 square meter, three bedroom kit is ready for installation of windows, doors, exterior finish, and  roofing materials, while the interior is ready for wiring, plumbing, insulation and interior wall finish, all of which can be completed in the factory, or by Our “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” Very Low Cost Housing Program Option!.

 Erection can be done with unskilled labor, requiring no special lifting equipment (step ladders only) and battery powered hand tools. The entire structure can be assembled, using the prefabricated components in a couple of days. With Our "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" program, the home owners will actually be the builders, thus another way of keeping costs of home ownership down.
